undergraduate at New York University’s Tisch School
of the Arts, Ryan has been actively exposed to the various
disciplines of filmmaking, including: writing, directing,
producing, and editing. with this as his start, he is ready
to bring a creative edge and an eagerness for knowledge to
any project.

during
the summer and fall of 2004 Ryan interned at Apostle Pictures,
a company owned by Denis Leary, Jim Serpico, and Tom Sellitti,
where he wrote coverage for feature films and television shows
(rescue me / shorties watchin’ shorties). he has been
actively involved in commercial (frangelico / jello), music
video (pete francis), and fundraising (comics come home 10)
work as a production assistant and cinematographer.

next project (Who Was Bernie Block?), Ryan is drawing heavily
on filmmakers like Woody Allen, The Marx’s Brother,
Ingmar Bergman, Federico Fellini, and Jean Luc Godard, as
he tells the story of Elsa:
a woman
in her late 40’s, who finds herself between her aristocrat
husband, Bernie Block, who she has never met before, and her
